'Art' was born at Bradstone and found to be girth-sensitive when prepared in-hand to be backed. He was thus in December 2005 sent to Marco Philipp near Cuxhaven to be backed. Marco is well known as one of the best horse show and grading handlers in Germany. 'Art' was thereafter ridden by the UK advanced dressage rider Chris Dannan, Devon and was sold by us in January 2008 to a local young rider in Devon. 'Art' thereafter ended up with IJsbrand Chardon in Holland and has won numerous National & International competitions as part of IJsband's four-in-hand team including both the individual & Dutch team FEI European Championship 2011.
