DonBubano's full sister Donatha S is a successful International Grand Prix horse for Ellen Schulten-Baumer.

Bradstone Stud purchased DonBubano as a foal from the breeder. He was placed 1st and graded at the Hanoverian provisional stallion licensing at Addington, UK in September 1999 (ridden by Wiebke Borchers): "Exceptional walk, wonderful elevated & rounded working trot with a natural extension when asked, very good canter". DonBubano has a wonderful temperament. He made a huge impact at Addington after only 80 days training under saddle.

DonBubano was given a year off after Addington to develop. A decision was taken not to participate in the 100 day stallion performance test. After a short period at Gronwohldhof , DonBubano was sent to Natalie Hobday & Jonny Hilberath, Germany in 2001 where he remains in training & competition. Bube is doing extremely well. He is an Advanced 'S' winner in Germany and achieved 70% scores on the International Small Tour in PSG and  Intermediarie I on the Continent. He made his debut in advanced competitions in Intermediarie I at CDI Wiesbaden 2005 with a 3rd place. His "performance curve" continues to point upwards and is soon ready for his Big Tour Grand Prix debut under Jonny Hilberath.

DonBubano is a fully approved stallion by the Hannoveraner Verband e.V. but is currently concentrating on his Competitions. He will serve as stallion thereafter, possibly as early as 2011.

Don Bubano's dam-line has produced numerous top-of-the-range horses for dressage and his sire-line can hardly be improved anywhere. The combination of Donnerhall-Pik Bube I-Der Loewe xx is without any doubt one of the most sought after breeding lines in the world of dressage.
